"THREE DEUCES AND A FOUR SPEED, AND A 455!"

Glenn's Total Obsession

My 1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible Project!

Making a classic musclecar DRIVEABLE in the new millennium!

In Remembrance of 9/11/01

The latest!

Body after dipping.

The body is FINALLY painted! It came out better than I ever thought possible. Not a ripple on it! The paint guy is color sanding it and going to do another couple of coats of Montero Red.

4/28/05

It is really starting to look like something! The Vintage Air A/C and  Tremec TKO 600 are installed, and the Moser 12 bolt isn't far behind!

5/11/05

5/27/05

Getting even closer!

6/15/05

Top is on...... Seats are almost done......

6/30/05

Seats are reupholstered and mostly assembled. They look great! It's amazing how the parchment looks different in different light.

7/15/05

The dash is installed and mostly working.

9/2/05

I drove it around the parking lot! The front tires are rubbing, so we are going with smaller ones.....

9/11/05

I took my daughter for a 15 minute ride today! The car is absolutely awesome. It truly handles and rides like a new car.

It is getting very close to coming home!

I went and made the last payment today! It is coming home next week!

10/3/05

IT'S HOME AT LAST!

When I did the disc brake conversion, the Rally I center caps wouldn't fit over the dust cap. I had a local CNC guy make a set of 1/2" spacers out of billet aluminum. I am probably going to paint them black. They are not at all noticeable unless you look close.

I took it to Immokalee Regional Raceway on Jan 13th, and it was a blast!

Here are a few pics.......

3/17/07

Finally got my KRE D-port heads installed......... I also have a ported aluminum tripower intake and ported end carbs on there now.

Here is an mp.3 file of the engine running (approximately 2.5 mb) with the Crane hydraulic roller. The whining is the electric fuel pump. It is not noticeable when standing next to the running car.

Any imperfections in the pictures are purely the result of my poor photography skills!

This page is always under construction, just like my car!

Me and the Kids pretending to go for a drive (insert engine noise here, GR-RRR)!

Kids in the GTO ca. 2000.

Same kids, same car 7/27/05

Nick and Jackie love the power of a big cube Poncho! (burnout noises are simulated! <G>
